Blast Events
In 2009-2010 we started Family Night Blasts to bring families together to talk about their faith in Christ, to experience a variety of people and musicians sharing their faith, and also build community. We had a rapper, a hypnotist, comedy group, and a variety of musicians. We learned a lot from these people and this experience.
In 2010-2011 we are continuing the Family Night Blasts, with a few twists. We will only have 4 throughout the year. (Sept. 12, Nov. 21, Jan. 9, May 15). We ask that families attend all 4.
Our theme this year is; God chooses you, making good choices. We will explore the many choices we make in life from relationships, daily decisions in school, work and life, and with our friends. We will be bringing in speakers who will engage our minds and help us talk with our families about these decisions and where God is in the midst of them.
As we work to partner with families to talk about and teach the faith, we hope these opportunities will provide that environment. We look forward to sharing the Good News of Christ together.
