Children and Families in Crisis

Rainbow Child Development Center
There are many activities to get involved with this Center that serves primarily low-income families. Tutoring, mentoring, chaperoning field trips, and serving at the various holiday parties are just a few activities. We sponsor a Christmas party as well as a summer Carnival. Prayer partners have been requested. Donations of clothing and school supplies are welcomed for the children at the Center and their siblings. The families also participate in the Food Programs at Thanksgiving, Easter and summer Picnic baskets. 

Salvation Army
Our primary interaction involves the children from this inner city center in our annual soccer camp. Other volunteer opportunities are available such as tutoring, helping the children pick out new school clothing, coaching teams, serving meals, etc.

Tubman Family Alliance Network
We serve the shelters within this network through our Food Programs, distribute clothing through the Share the Warmth drive, help with special requests throughout the year, and provide gifts at Christmas.

Women's LifeCare Center
Our primary support of the women in crisis pregnancies is through donations of clothing and participation in our Giving Tree program at Christmas for the infants and toddlers.
