6th Grade Pre-Confirmation Ministry

Cross Winds is the beginning stage of our confirmation program at St. Andrew's. Cross Winds focuses on the fundamentals of faith: becoming familiar with one's Bible, the Ten Commandments, Apostle's Creed and the Lord's Prayer, while also focusing on personal faith development.

The program involves small group interaction, fellowship opportunities through weekly social interaction as well as service learning. Cross Winds is a great way to explore the basics of the Christian faith while having fun and meeting new people.

Cross Winds is for all 6th grade students. It meets Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (Session 1) or 7:00-8:00 p.m. (Session 2). Cross Winds runs from September to May with a break during Lent in order to allow families to worship together.
