Sunday School Pre-K–3rd Grade
Children’s Sunday school is offered at 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m. The pre-school children meet in the Great Hall for the entire hour of worship service.   Kindergarten through 3rd grade begins in the worship service with their family and are dismissed to the Great Hall for Children’s Sunday School.  Parents  pick up their child after worship service in the Great Hall.  Saturday service offers a multi-age class during the 5 p.m. Gathering Service.

November classroom focus:
The children are learning about Joseph and his brothers through a variety of methods. The workshop focus teaches the children that God is with us when we are up and down.

Purchase a Spark Bible for your Child
Follow along and read the Bible Stories at home with your children in the same Bible that they are using in Sunday School!  All classes preschool - third grade are using the amazing Spark Story Bible. This is a beautifully illustrated Bible that will captivate kids of all ages. If you wish to purchase a copy for home use, they will be available at the Sunday School registration desk in the Great Hall on Sunday mornings, or available in the Youth and Sports Center throughout the week.  These Bibles are keepsake quality for only $12.

Save the Date!
The Christmas Pageant is Sunday, Dec. 20, in the Sanctuary
at both the 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. services. Rehearsal is Saturday, Dec. 19 in the Sanctuary.
 9 a.m. rehearsal for 8:30 Sunday School children
 10:15 a.m. rehearsal for 9:45 Sunday School Children
Children attending 11 Sunday School  and Saturday Gathering are welcome to attend the 9 a.m. rehearsal and would participate in the 8:30 a.m. pageant on Sunday.
Volunteers are needed to help guide the children to the correct locations and assist with a craft project following the Christmas Pageant.  Volunteers will be able to the see the pageant and assist the children.

Advent Family Fair
The annual Family Advent Fair will be held, Sunday, Nov. 29, 9 a.m.-noon.   This event takes the place of the regular Sunday School classes for that day. The Advent Fair gives families the opportunity to prepare for Advent  (the season spent awaiting Jesus’ birth).  This is a family activity centered around creating  a variety of pre-k through lower elementary Advent crafts and Christmas decorations. 

Children’s Ministry Volunteer Team

WAVE 4th and 5th Grade
Mark your calendar for the November WAVE service and fellowship opportunity: WAVE kids will usher at Sounds Like Love music concert and have a WAVE Group Party following the service (Nov. 15, 12:30 - 3 p.m.)   Be sure to sign up on the registration sheet in your WAVE class room!
