Duluth Harbor Cruise
Thursday, Sept. 30
Join us for a day trip to Duluth. We will depart from St. Andrew’s at 8:15 a.m. We just HAVE to make a stop at Tobies in Hinckley for coffee and rolls. Arrive in Duluth and take the Skyline Drive; a picture postcard view accentuated by the sensations of autumn, a view unlike any other in the Midwest. This colorful drive overlooks the Twin Ports of Duluth and Superior. Spend a few minutes in the Rose Garden in Leif Erickson Park. We’ll arrive at the harbor to board the Vista Fleet and experience the majestic beauty of Lake Superior aboard this accessible and climate controlled vessel. The narrated cruise allows a close-up view of the ore docks, Great Lakes cargo carriers, spectacular pleasure yachts, the Aerial Lift Bridge and much more. Enjoy a pizza buffet lunch aboard ship. We will make a rest stop on our return and arrive back at St. Andrew’s around 5:15 p.m.
Cost of the event is $68. We need 30 people signed up by Monday, August 30, or the event will be cancelled. Final count is due on Monday, Sept. 13. Pre-registration and payment required; complete an in-house registration envelope or contact Dianne Nash at 651-762-9141.
Mystery Tour
Thursday, Oct. 14
Time for the long-awaited Mystery Tour. This will be a local day trip. Come ready to be surprised. A fabulous lunch is included. We will depart from St. Andrew’s at 9:30 a.m. and return at approximately 3 p.m.
