The Healthy Brain: 4 Things You Can Do Now to Promote and Maintain Mental Fitness

Special presentation from Lyngblomsten; Cindy Albing speaker

Although there has yet to be definitive proof, there does seem to be evidence to suggest that the way you live now can have a significant impact on the health of your brain.

As physical health has improved and lifespan lengthened, one question we must ask ourselves is whether our brainspan can match our lifespan. Increasingly scientists are exploring the possibilities of keeping the brain fit and healthy at any age, and this forum will explore strategies we can take now to ensure that our brains stay sharp throughout life. Scientists are learning that the things that your mother might have told you many years ago - eat your vegetables, go outside and play, do your homework, get a good night's sleep - are every bit as important now as they were then for the health and vitality of your body…and brain.

This will be the final GRAND Forum for the season. We will be taking the summer off to plan for a new 2008-09 season. Watch the bulletin and Omnibus for further information.
