Summer Camp Leaders
August 8 - 13, 2010- Wood Lake Bible Camp
One of the most important and influential ways faith is passed on and we are transformed is through relationships. When you are able to take a long amount of time to be with someone, to talk about your life, share your faith, listen to them, walk with them in their journey and watch them grow, you are transformed. This is what happens at camp. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as a cabin leader for our Confirmation camps. We have opened the application process. We are looking for high school sophomores through adults to be leaders in our cabins with the middle school children. If you are a freshmen we would love to have you come to camp and either participate in Peer Ministry Training or in the daily life of camp in game, worship and activities leadership. Leaders will be selected in early February, and training will begin soon thereafter! Preference will be given to upperclassmen and Peer Ministers. Both youth and adult leaders are needed! In order to be a Leader you must be able to attend three of the four trainings: Feb 21, March 7, April 25, May 16 and attend a preparation meeting on Aug 1. Applications can be found in all of the buildings and are due right away. Contact Erin for information.
