Spiritual Retreat for MEN and WOMEN
June 16 - June 19, 2008
Join a small group from St. Andrew's on an interactive spiritual retreat at the Trappist Monastery of New Melleray Abbey near Dubuque, Iowa. Led by Pastor John Straiton, this will be a time of learning, interaction, prayer, scripture, laughter and renewal. It is a time to breathe deeply and center ourselves in the love of God. It will be a wonderful time to be together along with some quiet moments as well. Experience this monastic community and the unique atmosphere it offers to renew one's spirit. Leave St. Andrew's at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 16 (will meet at church and carpool) and return around 3:30 p.m. on June 19. The retreat will begin with dinner on Monday and includes meals through breakfast on Thursday (travel meals extra). COST: $175 (includes private room and bath, towels, linens and meals).
