Summer Internships

Interested in working as a summer intern with St. Andrew’s? This is an exciting and rewarding experience where you will grow and develop ministry with young students in our community.

Summer interns are a vital component of our staff. As an intern you will be asked to lead cabins and small groups of students at camp, plan weekly and special events, meet with students daily, and enrich your own faith life.

To apply,  please print out the forms below and submit both the Summer Intern employment application and the Summer Intern Questionnaire to the Youth Office.

Interviews will begin in February and will continue until all positions have been filled.

Time Frame: Tuesday, May 27, 2008 to Sunday, August 10, 2008. The summer will begin and end with a short retreat.

What are the Hours: To be honest ministry is a 24/7 commitment. Generally you can plan on 45-50 hours a week. Some weeks may require more, other weeks less. We strongly encourage summer interns to make their ministry their main priority during the summer.

How much will I be paid: The pay range is from $2800 - $3100. This will be determined by your level of experience.

What about housing: If you need summer housing we will do our best to find you a host home, with an amazing family to be a part of your summer.
