Did you know there are environmental benefits to lawns?

A healthy lawn can:

  • Prevent erosion by wind and water
  • Improve flood control
  • Help the breakdown of organic chemicals
  • Reduce noise
  • Provide wildlife habitat
  • Create a cooling effect during warm weather

But bee lawns are even better than turf grass, as they help create a pollinator friendly environment.  Replace lawn areas that are difficult to mow with shrubs and flowers that have pollen and nectar.  Most importantly eliminate the use of pesticides that are dangerous to pollinators.
