Christmas Quiet has long been an opportunity to come away to a quiet place to reflect and contemplate the invitations of Advent. We invite Christos alumni, friends, family and learners from Chicago, the Twin Cities and around the globe to join us via Zoom.

You are invited to a New Year’s Eve Pause…Come, open your heart and listen for God.

The time will include Scripture, contemplative singing, three short talks, and three ten-minute quiet spaces for reflection.  We will close with Communion and an opportunity to receive a prayer of blessing. If you choose to watch online, please prepare communion elements for yourself and oil or lotion to anoint yourself for a blessing prayer.

The evening will be led by Dr. Jeannette Bakke, Author of Holy Invitations: Exploring Spiritual Direction, Christos faculty, retired Bethel Seminary professor, spiritual director, retreat leader.
