Yogadevotion

Yogadevotion is a practice of breath, prayer, and movement led by a trained yoga instructor. Yogadevotion helps to encourage healthy living and a peaceful presence. Whether you are just beginning to explore the benefits of yoga or are an experienced yogi, you are welcomed to this community. We need 15 pre-registered for each class to be held.

Getting up and down off the floor can be difficult for many reasons. This Yogadevotion class incorporates poses that increase range of motion, improve balance, and bring attention to the breath, all using a chair as a yoga prop.

Practicing in the Presence/Yin Yoga
Monday Evenings, 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Great Hall Narthex
Yin yoga poses are intended to work passively with the fascia rather than actively with the muscles. Class will require props such as a block, strap, and blanket/pillow for the closing meditation. You may bring your own props from home or purchase the first night of the class.

Holy Rollers Bike Club

Do you like to bike? The St. Andrews Lutheran Church Holy Rollers are starting up again for 2018.  It is for people of all ages and abilities.  The rides are about 1 – 1.5 hours in length. We’ll celebrate Christian fellowship while getting some exercise on the Gateway and the beautiful Browns Creek Trails.  We’ll also keep track of 16 bluebird houses along the bike trail.

Weather permitting, the rides will be every week, all summer. The first ride will be Saturday, May 5.  We will ride on a regular basis on Thursday evenings (6:30 p.m.) and Saturday mornings (9:00 a.m.)

All rides will start in the parking lot in front of the Great Hall,  Jct. of Hilton Trail No. & Stillwater Rd (Hwy 12).   A biking helmet is required and biking gloves are strongly recommended.  For more information call Dennis Lindeke, 651-426-9415.


Wednesday Night Open Gym

Wednesdays, 3-6:30 p.m. – Youth and Sports Center

Bring the whole family to spend some quality time together in the Youth & Sports Center gym or Youth Room. Then join us for fun family dinner with pizza, salad, snacks and drinks! No need to register, so show up each Wednesday between 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. (pizza & salad served between 4 – 6:30 p.m.) to enjoy a fun evening and create great family memories! Free of charge. Join others for fun games in the gym! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
