2023 Elementary Camp Wapo: Summer Dates and Registration

Camp Wapo 2023 Grades 2-5 Elementary students are invited to join others from St. Andrew's at Camp Wapo this summer. St. Andrew's has space reserved for Seeds (Completing grades 2-3) and Youth Camp (Completing grades 4-5). Seeds Weekend - July 21-23 Youth Camp - Aug. 6-11 Registration opened January 15 and our reserved spaces will be held until filled or until February 15. After February 15, spaces for camp are made available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration is through Camp Wapo and full details are on their website. ROCK Basketball 2022-23 Season

What is ROCK? The acronym stands for Recreational Opportunities for Christian Kids. It is designed as a non-competitive, skills-based basketball program with an emphasis on good sportsmanship and team play. Who can participate? Children in grades K-2. Friends, family, and neighbors are welcome! Time and Dates: Mondays 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Dec. 5, 12; Jan. 9, 23, 30; Feb. 6, 13 End of Season Celebration: Monday, Feb. 13; 5:30-6:30 p.m. Registration: Register online Cost: $40 per child; $10 discount for each child when registering two or more from a family; scholarships available. Serve  1 Peter 4:10  Serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. Ideas from Children’s Messages Summer 2021 Sign up with family or friends for a food packing event -Feed My Starving Children or Meals from the Heart Event. Help wash your parent’s, grandparent’s, or neighbor's car. Give away Freezies or something cool on a hot day! Host a lemonade stand and donate some of the money to a favorite non-profit organization. Pick strawberries and use them to make a special treat for a neighbor. Write a thank you note. Write chalk messages of encouragement or kindness. Welcome someone who is new to your school or neighborhood. Teach your brother, sister, friend, or neighbor how to do something. Paint rocks, or write kind messages on them and leave them for someone to find, Volunteer as a Greeter or Usher at church. Help prepare and/or serve meals for community dinner. Help serve communion at church (age 12 and up). Volunteer to set up for VBS (any age) or help as a God Squad Leader (Middle School). Go on a Mission Trip during the summer (Middle School). Grow a garden and donate some produce. Clean up at a local beach or park.
