Confirmation Stay Safe Plan

Safety is our top priority. For all of our Confirmation in-person gatherings we will carefully follow St. Andrew's COVID-19 response plan. Attached here is the "Confirmation Stay Safe Plan" that will guide our time together. We're prepared for last minute changes if we're not able to gather in person.

Digital Dock – Episode 1.1

This fall we are excited to offer Digital Dock! Digital Dock will be a 12-15 minute broadcast following online worship services. These broadcasts will include an introduction/welcome by Children's Team members, message from one of the Pastors, bonus challenge for the week, a song and a prayer and blessing. We’ve designed this year’s Confirmation to be safe, manageable, and flexible, while limiting online/screen content and finding ways to connect youth with each other, parents/guardians, and adult mentors. We will resume Holy Communion in all weekend worship services online and in person beginning the weekend of Sept. 12-13. In-person:  We will be following appropriate protocols to bring you a safe and meaningful communion experience with bread, wine and juice in our services in the Great Hall and the Sanctuary. St. Andrew’s Community Meals Resume Drive-Thru Style Sept. 17

Starts Thursday, Sept. 17 - 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall Parking Lot Plans are underway to resume Thursday Night Community Meals, albeit a bit different than before! With all the safety precautions in place, participants will be invited to not only drive-thru and pick-up a hot meal, but drive-in and enjoy fellowship and conversation tail-gate style in our specially-marked, physically-distanced parking lot.

St. Andrew’s Welcomes Dr. Michael Chan As Host of Life U

St. Andrew's is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Chan as host of the upcoming Life U series at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. Dr. Michael Chan is Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Luther Seminary in St. Paul and a lead facilitator for LIFE U at St. Andrew's. He is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and holds an M.A. in Old Testament from Luther Seminary and a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from Emory University.
