Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry gives volunteers the opportunity to use their gifts to create prayer shawls (knit or crochet) for people in need in our community.  Work can be done remotely, with guidance from our Prayer Shawl ministry lead Jackie O'Neill. We have a few employment opportunities available within St. Andrew's! Our newest opportunity is for a part time Shelter Associate position to work at St. Andrew's Family Shelter in Hugo. Every-other weekend availability is required. Approximately 20 hours per week. We have a full-time opening for a Lead Preschool Teacher at The Preschools of St. Andrew's Full Day Program. 40 hours per week, benefit eligible. Living Well with Chronic Conditions

Thursdays, Jan. 14-Feb. 25, 2021 -  Living Well with Chronic Conditions is designed to improve the self-management skills of people living with ongoing health issues. Conditions like arthritis, mental health conditions, chronic pain, cancer, or diabetes can cause those affected to lose physical conditioning and suffer health problems over many years. This program teaches new strategies that will give participants the confidence, motivation, and skills needed to manage living with a chronic health condition. Will meet online via Zoom. Children, Youth and Family Christmas Drive

Sunday, Dec. 6, 5-7 p.m., Sanctuary Parking Lot Kick off the Christmas season at this drive-through event for families with music and singing, interactive art, Confirmation Christmas gift pickup, a “giving tree” collection for the Community Resource Center, and more!
