Welcome to Wellness Oasis! We know that our healthcare professionals and people in the helping fields are being stretched to their limits as they care for others during this pandemic. St. Andrew’s has had a stirring to figure out a way to support and care for all of our frontline workers. This podcast series focuses on topics that are important to the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of those that may be feeling that they are just surviving in survival mode. Thursdays, Jan. 14-Feb. 25, 2021 - Living Well with Chronic Conditions is designed to improve the self-management skills of people living with ongoing health issues. Conditions like arthritis, mental health conditions, chronic pain, cancer, or diabetes can cause those affected to lose physical conditioning and suffer health problems over many years. This program teaches new strategies that will give participants the confidence, motivation, and skills needed to manage living with a chronic health condition. Will meet online via Zoom. No cost. Third Tuesdays, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Are you currently caring for a spouse, elderly parent, family member or child with a chronic illness or a disability? If so, we’d love to have you join us the third Tuesday of every month (March 16, April 20, and May 18) at 1:00pm on zoom for a safe and welcoming space to share the joys and pains of being a caregiver.
