Living Well with Chronic Conditions

Wednesdays, June 9 - July 21, 9 - 11:30 am  Living with a chronic health condition such as arthritis, diabetes, cancer, or mental health conditions can be a daily challenge. Take charge by joining this Living Well with Chronic Conditions workshop. Participants in this virtual class make weekly action plans, share experiences and help each other solve problems as they carry out their plans. Topics include nutrition, exercise, medication use, pain management, emotions and communicating with medical providers. This "virtual" class will held via Zoom and hosted by two nurses. There will be an introductory session on June 9th where participants can meet one another, practice using Zoom, and receive support for technical challenges. Registration is reserved for Minnesota residents age 60 and above. The workshop will be held on Wednesdays, June 9 – July 21 from 9:00 – 11:30 AM. There is no cost to attend but donations are appreciated. Register now at or contact the FCNN office at 651-204-0904 or for more information. This “virtual “ class will be held via Zoom. Don’t know how to use Zoom? Don’t worry. We will help you! All participants must have audio and visual technology capabilities. This could be a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, or a smartphone. Registered participants will receive additional registration information prior to the class start date. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link for the Introduction Session and each class session via email.

Caregivers Support Group

Third Tuesdays, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. 2021: Sept. 21, Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 21 2022: Jan. 18, Feb. 15, March 15, April 19 Great Hall - Dot Room  Are you currently caring for a spouse, elderly parent, family member or child with a chronic illness or a disability? A new community of support for caregivers is forming now!  St. Andrew's is providing a warm, welcoming space to share the joys and pains of care giving. Come to have your cup filled with love, prayer and the Holy Spirit, and enjoy a fresh framework for the experience of giving care. Share resources and develop new friendships in supporting healing space. Join us the third Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm in the Great Hall Dot Room.
