Continuing the Journey
For Grade 12
We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul – Hebrews 6:19
High school graduation is a time of excitement and celebration (sometimes mixed with stress or uncertainty) as our teenagers mark a significant moment in their journey of life and faith. We send them into all that remains ahead, praying that God will bless, keep, and guide their hearts and reminding them of both God’s constant presence and the love, support, and encouragement of St. Andrew’s faith community.
Upcoming dates: Spring 2020
Workshop: Thursday, May 28; 6:30 p.m. via Zoom (details sent to all families of high school seniors)
Celebration: Sunday, May 31; 2 p.m. via Zoom
The May 28 online workshop provides a conversation space for youth and families to explore the transition
into adulthood and what will anchor our graduates into the future.
The May 31 celebration for graduates and families is a blessing worship designed specifically for this year’s seniors. Graduating during a pandemic requires special care and acknowledgement. We are aware that this has been a wonderful, difficult, traumatic, and refreshing senior year. There is a lot to celebrate and a lot to mourn. Let’s do it together!
