This fall we are excited to offer Digital Dock!
Digital Dock is a 12-15 minute broadcast following online worship services. These broadcasts will include an introduction/welcome by Children’s Team members, message from one of the Pastors, bonus challenge for the week, a song and a prayer and blessing. A Digital Dock Lesson email will be sent each week that will help to provide extra content to dive a bit deeper, beyond the video.

Skipping Stones Ministry

Plans are being made to hold several Skipping Stone workshops and blessings this fall! We’re working on a First Communion experience for late October to correspond with our church-wide monthly focus on worship and prayer (as part of LIFE U). We’re also intending to hold both Preschool and Third Grade Bible Skipping Stone Workshops in November, during the month St. Andrew’s will focus on the Bible — seems like a great time to get Bibles to our kids and dive deeper into God’s Word! Stay connected for updates on these events. (Note this is a different time of year for our Third Grade Bible Skipping Stone)

Our Skipping Stones ministry celebrates six moments in a child’s journey of life and faith, reminding them they are a beloved child of God and part of a church family. Each Skipping Stone includes an interactive workshop to support families in fulfilling baptismal promises to nurture faith in their children. We then celebrate and bless children/youth during worship as a reminder that the congregation also promises to encourage families in the life of faith.

First Communion

A child’s preparation for First Communion is provided as one of our Skipping Stones ministries for those in grades 1-5. Children (with a parent) attend a fun, experiential Saturday morning workshop and then receive their first Holy Communion with their family during a worship service.

Third Grade Bible Blessing

Our Skipping Stones ministry celebrates six significant moments in a child’s journey of life and life. The Third Grade Bible Blessing, designed for children during grade 3 (or higher), involves participation in an interactive parent-child workshop and presentation of the Bibles during worship.

In case your family missed our workshop offerings in November, we have set up two more opportunities for your Third grader and a parent to participate! Join us at one of the following times.

Families choose to attend ONE of the following workshop options:

– Wednesday, Feb. 10, 5-6 p.m. online via Zoom
– Thursday, Feb. 11, 6-7 p.m. online via Zoom
