Sunday School (Age 3-Grade 5)

Sunday School – St. Andrew’s weekly Children’s faith formation.

Sundays at all worship services: Sanctuary (Traditional worship) at 9 a.m. or 10:30 a.m., Great Hall (Contemporary worship) at 9:30 a.m.

Open to children age 3 (by Sept. 1, 2023) through Grade 5

Important Dates:

• Classes begin on Sunday, September 17
• All In Worship Days​
  • October 1, November 5, December 3, February 4, and March 3, May 5
  • Children’s Choirs will sing these weeks in the Sanctuary
  • No regular Sunday School Classroom time these dates
  • Many All In Worship services will include Skipping Stone Celebrations
  • Worship participation opportunities at all!
• There will be no Sunday School December 24 and 31, 2023, and March 31, 2024.

When you register, select one of the following options:

• Sanctuary (Traditional worship) at 9 a.m.
• Great Hall (Contemporary worship) at 9:30 a.m.
• Sanctuary (Traditional worship) at 10:30 a.m.

Volunteer to help support St. Andrew’s Sunday School ministry.

We would love to have families help out with Sunday School in the classroom! Please consider joining us 2-3 times this program year. We make things very easy for volunteers to feel prepared and ready to have fun with their classroom group of kids.

St. Andrew’s runs background checks on all adult volunteers every two years. If you are over 18, please fill out the Background Check form at least one week before you volunteer. We will run the check if you are due for a re-check.

• Age: Must be at least 6th grade or older as of fall 2023

  • Great Hall (Contemporary worship) at 9:30 a.m.
  • Sanctuary (Traditional worship) at 10:30 a.m.

• Check-in at the Check-In Station (located near the worship spaces)

• Sanctuary Families: 9 and 10:30 a.m.
  • Preschool children start in their classroom (Room 202), Parents are asked to walk them upstairs and drop them off in the room
  • Elementary children accompany family into worship. After the children’s message, children will be invited to meet their teachers in the Atrium and head to their classrooms.
• Great Hall Families: 9:30 a.m.
  • All children  accompany family into worship. After the children’s message, children will be invited to meet their teachers in the Narthex and head to their classrooms.
• Pick-up after Worship: All services
  • Your child’s safety is very important
  • Check the signs  outside worship spaces or a check-in desks for current classroom locations
  • A parent will need to pick children up from their classroom.
• Potential room closures
  • If we are unable to recruit enough volunteers to meet our classroom needs, we will close individual classrooms and recombine groups if needed.
  • Signs will be posted with room pick ups outside worship spaces and at the check-in desks.
