Children’s Summer Programs

Summer DOCK

Summer DOCK dates: 7 week Summer session July 9 – Aug. 20

Our children’s education program continues into the summer. DOCK, Disciples of Christ Kids is available to children ages 3 to Grade 5.  Join us at 9 or 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary or 9:30 a.m. in the Great Hall. Come explore the Bible stories in exciting new ways, pulling in music, games, science, and art. For our Summer program, all children will start in worship with their families. No registration required.


Day Camps at St. Andrew’s:

Art Camp
July 18-20, 9 a.m.-12 noon
Cost: $35; Completed Kindergarten-Grade 5

Spend the morning creating your own mini masterpieces with our resident artist-teachers who share their love of art.  This is a chance to be creative, get messy, have fun, and experience God through creativity and artistry.  Art project supplies and snacks are included in the fee.


Sports Camp
Aug. 15-17, 9 a.m.-12 noon
Cost: $35; Completed Kindergarten-Grade 5

Do you like to run, jump, skip, hop, and play games with your friends? Then this day camp is for you! God is with us wherever we go, even if we’re moving fast, so join us for three energetic, fun-filled days.  Emphasis will be placed on being active, building teamwork, and having fun.


camp1Summer Camp at Camp Wapo:

Come to Camp – where fun and faith collide! You’ll meet Jesus in new and exciting ways through friendships, inspiring worships, fun games, caring counselors, blazing campfires, and more. Come to camp and be transformed through this fearless faith adventure!

Register now to attend a camp session with other children from St. Andrew’s. Camp Wapo is located in Amery, WI, about an hour from the church. Families are responsible to bring their child to and from camp. St. Andrew’s staff is onsite throughout the weekend and week at camp to be a familiar face for children.


Seeds Weekend (Completed Grades 2 & 3)
August 4-6
Cost: $160

This action packed weekend for our youngest campers begins with Friday registration from 3-4:30 p.m. (note change from previous years) and concludes with worship at 12 noon on Sunday. Families and friends are welcome to attend the closing worship.

Knowing that this may be some kid’s first camp experience or even their first time away from home, Camp Wapo counselors will spend every moment with these campers. They will provide a safe and caring environment filled with music, Bible study, campfires, crafts, water activities and tons of games.

Youth Camp (Completed Grades 4 & 5)
August 6-11
Cost: $420

Wapo has informed us that the week long program has filled, families are encouraged to get on the wait list if they would like to have a chance to attend this week. There is limited space available other weeks as well.

The week is packed with a variety of activities that are meant to impact kids for eternity. Each day includes Bible study, chapel, cabin activities, free time, field games, campfire. Registration is on Sundays from 3-5 p.m. Closing worship is on Fridays at 12 noon (note change from previous year) when family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Parents’ Night Out

Second Friday of the month all year.

Family Frolics

Mondays; 9-11 a.m.

Children birth through preschool (with a parent or adult) are invited to run, jump, and play during an open, unstaffed time in the Youth and Sports Center Gym and the playground outside Great Hall.  There is no charge — simply come and enjoy! 3 for Me: Summer Session is now Full

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; Summer Session June 6 – Aug. 31

“3 for Me” offers three hours of free time for busy moms and dads while their kids enjoy three hours of FUN, including Bible stories, free play, songs, crafts and group activities – all in a safe, nurturing environment.
