By practicing key steps, you can identify your role, needs and a plan on how to get those needs met while bringing you peace of mind.  Learn how to develop an outlook that will be a source of strength no matter what!  Facilitated by Jenny West, Caregiving and Aging Community Educator.

By attending this seminar, you will:

  • identify family member roles and responsibilities
  • understand how to stay in your own comfort zone
  • learn what documents to have on hand in crisis
  • collect resources that work for you

Parents Letting Go Workshop

Saturdays May 6, 13 and 20, 2017
9 a.m. – Noon, Sanctuary Room 203

Parents and young adults are closer these days than young adults and their parents of past generations.  Both parties are challenged to find ways to navigate the launching process into independence.  Parents struggle with providing the right amount of letting go and supporting these young adults.  In this workshop, you will be challenged to learn and apply six practices that will increase your effectiveness in successfully launching your young adult.  Presentations, small group discussions, workbooks and weekly assignments will be employed. Parents of young adults from 17-35 are invited to attend.  Cost is $75 per participant and $125 for both parents.  Register online or by calling Dianne Nash at 651.762.9141.
