St. Andrew’s community,

Today we have bittersweet news to share: Deacon Stephanie Anderson is in a call process and will likely be offered, and accept, a call to serve as Deacon at another congregation in the Twin Cities. Stephanie has been a beloved part of the St. Andrew’s family these past three years, leading our young adult and new member ministries, playing a critical role in our LIFEU adult ministry, hospitality, and much more.

Stephanie will serve as one of two clergy to guide the mission and ministry of her new congregation, including education, preaching, pastoral care, and program direction. This is a significant leadership step for Stephanie and we are excited to be blessing her into this call process and exciting new role.

We’ll share more details next month after the call is finalized, including opportunities for you to engage with Stephanie before she moves to her new church.

As we move forward, the leadership team at St. Andrew’s will discern the needs of our congregation and prayerfully assess the roles and responsibilities that would best serve our community as we seek to fill Stephanie’s role. We will keep you updated along the way.

For now, please join us in thanking Stephanie for her many contributions to St. Andrew’s and wishing her all the best as she furthers God’s kingdom in her new role.
