Family Shelters – Oakdale and Hugo

Volunteer to serve our shelter guests

Won’t you consider spending a couple hours at the shelter to play games with kids, help with dinner, or be there overnight so a family without a home has a safe space to spend the night? Your help is most appreciated.

St. Andrew’s is seeking volunteers to serve in a ministry of hospitality at two shelters: Hope for the Journey Home (HJH) family shelter at Guardian Angels Church in Oakdale, and St. Andrew’s Family Shelter in Hugo.

Contact Debbie Larson at dlarson@saintandrews.org or 651.762.9148 for assistance with registration and/or to begin the process of completing a background check.
