Family Shelters – Oakdale and Hugo

Volunteer to serve our shelter guests

Won’t you consider spending a couple hours at the shelter to play games with kids, help with dinner, or be there overnight so a family without a home has a safe space to spend the night? Your help is most appreciated.

St. Andrew’s is seeking volunteers to serve in a ministry of hospitality at two shelters: Hope for the Journey Home (HJH) family shelter at Guardian Angels Church in Oakdale, and St. Andrew’s Family Shelter in Hugo.

Contact Debbie Larson at or 651.762.9148 for assistance with registration and/or to begin the process of completing a background check.
